Is there a budding performer in your life? New Braunfels Performing Arts Summer Camps are the perfect place for kids to cultivate their interest in singing, dancing, and acting in a fun, dynamic, and creative environment. All actors will have an opportunity to showcase their talents at the end of the camp. Their confidence will blossom as they learn the skills they need to be on stage while making friends and memories. These camps are fun and fill up fast!
A camp must have a minimum number of registrants to proceed, so make sure to invite all your friends!
Payment due upon enrollment. $50 cancellation fee. Cancellation notice required 2 weeks before the start of camp. Please note that no other refunds are available. Thank you for understanding!

CAMP SONG OF THE SEA
Camp Dates: Camp Dates: June 12 – June 16 • Final Performance: June 16
Full Day Camp 9:00-4:00 • Ages 5-18 $300.00
Half Day Camp 9:00-12:00 • Ages 4-10 $250.00
Extended Care 8:00-9:00am & 4:00-5:00pm $20.00 per day
Students will learn the basics of theatre through learning songs and dances from Moana Jr. We will make necklaces, volcanoes and leis. Students will explore their creative talents, collaborate with their peers, and develop an educational understanding and passion for the performing arts. We will learn theatre skills through games and activities as well as designing everything needed for the final performance. Students will be grouped according to their level of experience and age.


“Once Upon A Time”
Fairy Tale Camp
Camp Dates: June 19 – June 23 • Final Performance: June 23 or 24
Full Day Camp 9:00-4:00 • Ages 5-18 $300.00
Half Day Camp 9:00-12:00 • Ages 4-10 $250.00

Students will learn the basics of theatre through learning a short play or songs from a fairy tale musical. Some of the short plays we will perform will be “Little Red Riding Hood”, “The 3 Little Pigs” and songs from Shrek, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella and many more! We will create costumes, sets, and props for the performance. Students will explore their creative talents, collaborate with their peers, and develop an educational understanding and passion for the performing arts. We will learn theatre skills through games and activities as well as designing their everything needed for the show. Students will be grouped according to their level of experience and age. Location of Camp and Show: NBPA Studio, 131 Gattuso Road.
CAMP ROCK STAR
Camp Dates: July 10 – 14th • Final Performance: July 14th at 6:00pm /
9:00-4:00 /$ 300.00
Campers will be split into “bands” to learn songs from shows like Rock of Ages, Six, Mean Girls (and more!) to perform like a true rock star! Each “band” will create a name, costumes, and will practice a song of their choice from the preselected options. Campers will design their own cardboard “guitars” to take home after camp is over! All songs will be performed on the final day of camp in a “Battle of the Bands” style show. Location of Camp and Show: NBPA Studio, 131 Gattuso Road


Finding Nemo Jr. Camp
Camp Only (younger group): July 17-21– Ages 4 – 8 / Time: 9:00 – 12:00 / NBPA Studio / Cost $200.00
Camp Only (older group): July 17- 21 Ages 5 – 18 / Time: 9:00 – 4:00 / NBPA Studio /Cost $250.00
Half Day Camp with Show Performance: July 17-27 / 9:00-12:00 / Show days will be July 26 & 27 (assigned) Cost $300.00
Full Day Camp with Show Performance: Full day camp / Ages 5-18 / July 17-27– 9:00-4:00 / Cost $350.00 / Show days will be July 26 & 27 (assigned)

This group will learn music, scenes, and choreography from Finding Nemo the Musical. Show Campers will have the opportunity to audition to be in the production of Disney’s Finding Nemo Jr., to be held at New Braunfels Civic Center! Half-Day Campers in the younger age group will perform at intermission. If interested in auditioning for main roles, please send an email to sherry@nbperfomingarts.com. Students will learn songs, dances, and scenes from the actual musical. NBPA will audition campers who are interested to be IN the show. If not selected to perform in the show, the students will perform a number at intermission. Perfect for new and returning students!

Extended Care available: $20.00 per day; one hour before and one hour after camp.
How I Became a Pirate Camp and Show
Camp Dates: August 14 – 18th / Final Performance: August 18 & 19
Full Day Camp 9:00-4:00 / Ages 5-18 / Cost $300.00
Half Day Camp 9:00-12:00 / Ages 4-10 / Cost $250.00
Extended Care: 8:00-9:00 & 4:00-5:00 / Cost $20.00 per day
Half day campers will perform at intermission. Must be a full day camper to be in the show. To audition for main speaking parts, please email sherry@nbperformingarts.com to schedule an audition time slot.
This week students will explore musical theatre as we learn, rehearse, and perform an entire Junior play “How I Became a Pirate,” based on the book. We will create costumes, sets, and props for the show. Students will explore their creative talents, collaborate with their peers, and develop an educational understanding and passion for the performing arts. We will learn theatre skills through games and activities as well as designing costumes, sets, and props for the show. Students will be grouped according to their level of experience and age. Parts in the show will be assigned through auditions as well as activities during camp. NBPA retains the right to choose which students perform either in the play, or during intermission based on their behavior at camp. Location of Camp and Show: NBPA Studio, 131 Gattuso Road
